Russia deploys Su-35s in Libya - US

The presence of Russian Su-35 aircraft in Libya is particularly surprising.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the head of the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) Stephen Townsend.

"The world has heard that Haftar is preparing for a new air strike. Russian mercenaries will fly Russian-supplied planes and bomb Libyans. Moscow is openly trying to increase its influence in Libya. "As in Syria, they are using government-backed mercenaries to expand their military presence in Africa."
