Russia is preparing to divide Ukraine - Saakashvili

Kyiv fears that Russia will increase its influence in the Ukrainian regions and Balkanize the country.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the head of the Executive Committee of the National Reform Center of Ukraine Mikheil Saakashvili.

"We are in a situation where Russia will benefit from the lack of reforms in Ukraine. We see evidence of this in some open sources of information and a number of intelligence sources. The main danger is that some regions may fall under the influence of Russia. This is a Balkanization scenario. We will do everything to prevent it from happening," he said.
