The US to Russia: Stop the occupation of the Caucasus

The Republic of South Ossetia does not exist, it is an occupied part of Georgia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Ambassador to the OSCE James Gilmore. He accused Moscow of occupying Georgian territory.

Gilmore said they demanded that Russia immediately stop building borders and barriers in the occupied territories.

The US ambassador also said that Russia had spread misinformation about the Lugara biolaboratory in Georgia.
