There was a strong earthquake in Japan

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook the city of Gifu on the Japanese island of Honshu.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

It is reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.

No tsunami alert was issued for the area.
