More than 2 million people in New York may be infected with the coronavirus.

Axar.az reports this was stated in a study by the New York Department of Health.

According to the study, the real figures maybe 10 times higher than the official data. According to the results of tests, one in seven people is infected with the coronavirus.

"Some of the infected people did not show any symptoms, they were mild. Some did not consult a doctor at all. Due to the lack of sufficient tests in February-March, many people may not be tested,” the study said.
