US: Who printed the counterfeit money for Haftar?

Russia's state-owned Goznak has printed counterfeit Libyan money worth $ 1.1 billion.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the US State Department. The State Department said the order for the money came from an "illegitimate authority."

Counterfeit Libyan money was discovered by Maltese security forces.

The statement said the United States recognizes the Central Bank in Tripoli as the only legitimate bank in the country.

"The counterfeit Libyan currency printed in Russia has deepened the country's economic problems. Russia must refuse to destabilize the situation in Libya. "
