Erdogan's response to those who say "the occupation of Istanbul."

In recent days, some people have been trying to present the conquest as an occupation.

Axar.az informs that, the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the negative side of the historic event on the anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul.

"Our ancestor saw the conquest as a victory of hearts. "Conquest is to win hearts, but those who do not know their identity will not understand such things," Erdogan said.

It should be noted that from time to time in Turkey, some people try to present the conquest of Istanbul (1453) as an occupation.
