EU protests against Trump on the G-7 structure

The United States cannot change its composition by inviting new countries to the G-7.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell. According to him, the head of the G-7 can send invitations to third countries, but can not change the composition of the G-7 on a permanent basis.

Earlier, Trump announced that he would invite Russia, India, South Korea and Australia to the G-7 summit in September.
