Greece fires on a Turkish boat

An armed incident took place on the Greek-Turkish border.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Edirne Governor's Office.

"A group of 10-12 people in military uniforms from Greece fired on a Turkish police boat in the Maritsa River. The Turkish side fired warning shots into the air and the other side stopped firing."

Prior to the incident, police patrolling the boat took a photo of the body of a migrant hanging from a tree on the Turkish side of the Maritsa River, the statement said.
