A rally is being held in front of the Verkhovna Rada in Ukraine demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

Axar.az reports that the protesters demand that the Verkhovna Rada send Avakov to resign and carry out reforms in law enforcement agencies.

Protesters chanted "Avakov, reject!", "0 per cent public trust" and other slogans. A rally with the same demand is expected to be held in front of the government building in a few hours.

It should be noted that a report on the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will be heard at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada today.
