Blast in Turkey: 4 civilians dead, 19 injured

Four civilians were killed and 19 people including five policemen were wounded in a PKK bomb attack in the Silopi district of southeastern Shırnak province on Monday, Daily Sabah reported citing security sources.

PKK terrorists detonated an improvised explosive device concealed under a road while a police vehicle was passing.

Four civilians died right away at the scene of the explosion, while 19 others, including 5 police officers in the armored police vehicle, were injured, according to initial findings.

The injured civilians and policemen have been immediately transferred to the Silopi State Hospital.
