Azerbaijan’s energy resources play key role in global economy

Azerbaijan’s energy resources play a key role in the global economy, the economy and energy security of Europe, says UK Prime Minister David Cameron's message addressed to the participants of the 23rd International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition that kicked off in Baku June 1.

The British PM emphasized the role of Azerbaijan in the Southern Gas Corridor project.

“I’m pleased that BP and the UK, a number of companies will contribute to the development of the project. I’m confident that the exhibition will be successful,” PM Cameron said in his message.
