Russia's constitutional vote has turned into a referendum on confidence in Putin.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the head of Minchenko Consulting Holding Yevgeny Minchenko.

"The figures we have seen are almost a sign of confidence in the president," Minchenko said.

It should be noted that 78% of those who took part in the voting in Russia yesterday supported the amendments to the Constitution.
