Bill Gates explained the cause of the spread of COVID-19

One of the main reasons for the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the United States is false information on social networks.

Axar.az reports this was claimed by the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.

Gates sharply criticized the US position in the fight against the pandemic:

"The United States is not able to demonstrate the expected leadership and lack sufficient coordination. One of the main reasons for the rapid spread of the virus in the country is false information on social networks. Facebook and other platforms remain in a difficult position to combat COVID-19."
