The number of COVID-19 cases reached 660 000 in Russia

Russia confirmed 6,760 new coronavirus infections Thursday, bringing the country's official number of cases to 661,165.

Axar.az reports that over the past 24 hours, 147 people have died, bringing the total toll to 9,683 - a rate considerably lower than in many other countries hit hard by the pandemic.

A total of 6,047 people recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 428,978.
