Turkish army`s blow: Critical area captured

The Turkish Armed Forces have dealt another blow to the PKK as part of Operation Panja-Kaplan.

Axar.az reports that as part of the operation, the Mervanis region, which is considered a "special forces camp" of the PKK, was cleared of terrorists.

According to the report, Mervanis is considered the most critical region of the PKK.

The terrorists moved away from the area when Turkish UAVs and Atak attack helicopters opened fire on the camp.

In addition, 700 commandos were sent to the region.
