Israel launched a satellite into orbit against Iran

Israel has launched a new generation of reconnaissance satellite Ofek-16.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Israeli Defense Ministry.

"Today, the Israeli Defense Ministry, together with the IAI airline, successfully launched the Ofek-16 reconnaissance satellite from the central spaceport," the statement said.

Israeli media reported that the satellite will be used to monitor Iran's nuclear activities.
