Germany may use sanctions against Turkey and Russia

We call on the parties in Libya to start negotiations without delay.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

"The first step could be the demilitarization of Sirte and al-Jufra. We call on all parties in Libya to unite behind this idea," he said.

"In addition, foreign intervention in Libya must end. We will take measures to prevent the country from becoming a battlefield for foreign forces. We will also use sanctions," he said.

Yesterday, France called on Turkey and Russia to refrain from interfering in Libya.
