28 Georgian soldier infected with COVID-19 in Afghanistan

A coronavirus has been detected in 28 Georgian servicemen involved in NATO's Resolute Support operation in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Georgian Defense Ministry.

"The tests revealed the coronavirus in 28 Georgian servicemen involved in NATO's Resolute Support operation. They were brought to Georgia on a special flight by a German military plane," the statement said.

It was noted that the health of the servicemen is satisfactory.
