There is a problem between Yerevan and NATO

The Armenian government has problems not only with Russia but also with the European Union and NATO.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by "Graparak" newspaper.

"Problems with NATO began last year. Armenia cooperates with NATO within the framework of an individual partnership program. This cooperation was signed in 2005 and must be renewed every two years. The document was last signed during Serzh Sargsyan's 2017 visit to Brussels. In 2019, this document was not updated. To resolve the issue, on March 11, 2019, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai visited Yerevan and met with various officials. However, Pashinyan did not meet with Appathurai, and no progress has been made. Is this action of Yerevan connected with Russia or is there another reason? It is difficult to answer," the statement said.
