If NATO does that, there will be a war - Pushkov

If Georgia and Ukraine join NATO, the risk of confrontation between Russia and the alliance will increase.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Federation Council Senator for Information Policy Aleksey Pushkov on Twitter.

"This will rapidly increase the risk of conflict between Russia and NATO. Therefore, neither Paris nor Berlin want to include Ukraine in the union. It is a dangerous game," the senator said.

Ian Brzezinski, son of well-known political scientist Zbigniew Brzezinski, proposed that Ukraine and Georgia join NATO.
