Lavrov: No country should live the fate of Libya

Russia is not interested in maintaining its military presence in the Middle East by creating conflicts between different countries.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"We are interested in developing trade, economic, investment and other relations with countries that serve mutual interests. We do not want any country in the region to suffer the fate of Libya. Libya has been deprived of its statehood and they still do not know how to unite the pieces," Lavrov said.
