Gul`s reaction to Hagia Sophia's mosque status

May the opening of Hagia Sophia to worship be good. This historic decision made our dear nation happy.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the 11th President of Turkey Abdullah Gul.

Gul also congratulated those who worked for Hagia Sophia to receive the status of a mosque and open for worship.

Yesterday, the Turkish State Council (Supreme Administrative Court) annulled a 1934 decision to turn the St. Sophia Church in Istanbul into a museum, after which Erdogan announced that Hagia Sophia was open for worship.
