The US imposes additional duties on French goods

The US government has imposed an additional 25% tariff on $ 1.3 billion worth of goods from France.

Axar.az reports that the US decision will come into force in 180 days. Washington made the decision after Paris imposed a tax on American digital service companies.

U.S. officials called Paris' move unfair and said they did not intend to tolerate it.
