European Commissioner: The eurozone could split

The stagnation caused by the pandemic in the Eurozone threatens the currency union.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni.

"The recession is deeper than expected. The differences in the economic development of the eurozone countries are more pronounced in the spring than expected. The stagnation caused by the pandemic threatens to divide the Eurozone," he said.
