We strongly condemn the Armenian attack on our brothers in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the leader of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Arshad Salehi while commenting on the recent events in Tovuz.

Arshad Salehi said that as the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front and a member of the Iraqi parliament, he assesses Armenia's move as a crime against human rights and international law:

"Armenia uses such provocations to push its internal problems to others. Armenia must answer to the international community for its actions. We, the Iraqi Turks, express that we are all part of this geography, remind us that we are with our brothers and sisters with all our being, and strongly condemn this crime. Dear Azerbaijan, sacrifice our lives! Those lands are Turkish lands. It is inevitable that the international community will punish the occupying Armenia for this step as soon as possible," the Turkmen leader said.
