FM spoke with the co-chair about the Armenian provocation

On July 13, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov had telephone conversations with Igor Popov, the Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, and Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

Axar.az reports that the Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov informed the other side about the prevention of the attack by the Armenian armed forces and the current situation in the region, expressing serious dissatisfaction and assessing this new provocation of Armenia as an act of aggression.

Mammadyarov said the provocation was aimed at attracting third countries to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and distracting the Armenian society from internal problems.
