Rouhani`s message: This is a great victory

The United States hoped to stifle Iran's economy by imposing sanctions.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

"Running the country in these difficult circumstances is an indication of the people's strength against the United States. We were able to run the country based on an oil-independent economy. This is a great victory for Iran in the economic war," he said.
