The Armenian lobby has taken action in the US

The US Congress will discuss a ban on arms supplies to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the National Committee of American Armenians (ANCA).

ANCA said that efforts are being made to amend the 2021 military budget in this regard. It was noted that the proposal was made by members of the Armenian lobby, Congressmen Frank Pallone and Brad Sherman.

Under Amendment 66 proposed by Brad Sherman, any defence products and services can be supplied to Azerbaijan with the US President's assurance to Congress that these products will not pose a threat to civil aviation.

According to the 397th amendment proposed by Pallone, the US Department of Defense must submit a report to Congress on the military support program for Azerbaijan (which in the last few years amounted to $ 120 million).
