The US has abolished preferences for Hong Kong

The United States is suspending or revoking its preferences in relations with Hong Kong.

Axar.az reports this information is contained in a decree signed by US President Donald Trump.

Thanks to this decision, the United States will be able to equate the passports of Hong Kong residents with the passports of Chinese citizens.

The order also said that Hong Kong should be notified of the US intention to suspend the intergovernmental agreement on the transfer of prisoners.
