Ankara and Moscow continue their dialogue on the delivery of the second regiment of S-400 surface-to-air missile systems to Turkey, Turkish Ambassador to Russia Mehmet Samsar told TASS on Wednesday.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

"Our relations and cooperation with the Russian Federation are developing in all the spheres. Cooperation in the defense industry also plays an important role in this context. The negotiations between the competent agencies of the two states continue," the envoy said, replying to the question about the progress in the talks on the delivery of the second regiment set of S-400 air defense missile systems.

"Officials from both countries give necessary answers to speculations on this issue. We are full of resolve to continue cooperation between our countries at the level of the leaders of the states. In this context, I believe that it would be better to focus on the specific results of our cooperation, ignoring speculations," the diplomat said.
