High-ranking military official arrested in Armenia

Lt. Colonel Shant Avetisyan, head of the 2nd Department of Yerevan's "Mashtots" Military commissariat has been arrested red-handed for bribery, Armenpress reports.

Defense Ministry spokesman Arstrun Hovhannisyan says the Special Division of the Military Police arrested Avetisyan during the act of accepting a bribe.
