5.7 magnitude earthquake shakes Malatya, Turkey

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Kandilli Observatory.

The quake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometres. The tremors were felt in Elazig, Gaziantep, Diyarbakir and Urfa.

No casualties or damage were reported.

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake was registered in the Peturga district of Malatya.
