Poverty in Iran has peaked

8.2% of families in Iran have not been able to buy meat this year.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the Iranian Student Survey Center. According to the report, this figure is 3.5% higher than last year.

At the same time, 14.4% of households in the country can eat meat only a few times a year, 32.8% several times a month, and 40.2% of families several times a week.

4.3% of families have no problems with the food supply.
