189 new COVID-19 cases reported in UAE

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday announced 189 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 61,352. reports citing foreign media.

UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention said that 227 more patients recovered from the coronavirus, taking the tally of recoveries in the UAE to 55,090.

The country has reported no deaths from COVID-19 for a fourth consecutive day, as the nationwide death toll stood at 351.

The UAE was the first among the Gulf countries to report COVID-19 cases. It has been showing solidarity with China in fight against the novel coronavirus.
