The US: We are collecting information about the explosion

The United States is gathering information about the Beirut bombing and preparing to provide humanitarian assistance.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Pentagon Chief Mark Esper.

"We are still gathering information about what happened. Reportedly, many believe it was an accident. I can't say anything about it," Esper said.

US President Trump has claimed that the Beirut bombing was caused by an attack.
