Russia returned Sargsyan's godchild to Yerevan

Russian police have extradited former Armenian MP Levon Sargsyan to Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Adviser to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Gor Abramyan.

Levon Sargsyan was detained on August 6 in the Russian city of Zelenograd.

Sargsyan was one of the participants in the attack on the residence of the former head of the Armenian Customs Service Armen Avetisyan 11 years ago.

Levon Sargsyan was elected a deputy from the Republican Party. He is the godfather of former President Serzh Sargsyan.
