Deaths rate increased, birth rate decreased in Armenia

The number of births in Armenia has decreased in the first six months of this year.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by Jokhovurd newspaper.

15893 people were born in Armenia in the first six months. This is the lowest figure for the same period in the last two years.

The number of deaths in the country has also increased in the last two years. Thus, 13218 deaths were registered in the first six months of 2018, 13724 deaths in 2019, and 14417 deaths this year.
