US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo has once again called on the world not to vote for Cuba's membership in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

Axar.az informs that, Pompeo wrote about this on his Twitter account.

"It is unfortunate that the UN Human Rights Council has offered Cuba a place to trade through its doctors under the guise of humanitarian missions. "Any country that values human rights should refrain from voting for Cuba's membership in the Council," Pompeo said.

In October 2019, the United States imposed visa restrictions on Cuban officials responsible for the working conditions of Cuban doctors under foreign programs.
