Lebanese Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad has resigned following a powerful bombing in Beirut.

Axar.az informs that, Abdel Samad apologized to the Lebanese and said that he could not live up to their expectations.

"I am resigning after the horrors of the Beirut accident," he said.

Lebanon's Minister of Environment and Administrative Development Damianos Qatar has resigned.

It should be noted that the mass protests in Beirut have turned into riots.
