EU is preparing a response to US sanctions

The European Union will develop special mechanisms in response to third-country sanctions, including US restrictions on the North Stream 2 gas pipeline.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from EU Ambassador to Russia Markus Ederer.

"European policy should be determined in Europe, not by third countries," he said.
