The protesters entered the building of the Ministry of Labor and Refugees.

This was reported by the Lebanese National Agency.

The Lebanese army began removing protesters from the government building after additional forces arrived.

Protesters gathered in the Beirut Suks district on the street leading to the parliament and started throwing stones and explosives at the army and police.

Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. The protesters began to withdraw from the square only after the arrival of the army.
