EU may impose sanctions on Belarus

The European Union may consider imposing new sanctions on Belarus after the presidential election.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz.

"Sanctions against Belarus could be one of the options," he said. However, we hope that the situation will not reach that level, "the minister said.

According to Chaputovich, everything depends on how the situation develops and the next steps of the government.
