Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar stressed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the rights and interests of his country in the eastern Mediterranean.

According to the report, the Minister made a statement in a video conference with officers of the General Staff, commanders of military units and units in the region about the Turkish reconnaissance ship Oruc Reis, which will conduct seismic surveys in the eastern Mediterranean off the coast of Cyprus. He noted that Turkey has taken all necessary measures to protect its rights and interests based on international law.

Speaking about his country's fight against terrorism, Hulusi Akar said that this fight will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized.
