New school year will begin in this form in schools

The 2020-2021 academic year in Turkey will begin remotely due to a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The distance learning process will start on August 31.

Axar.az reports that, the decision was made on the recommendation of the Scientific Committee of the Turkish Ministry of Health.

Turkish Minister of National Education Ziya Selcuk said that the normal teaching process is scheduled to begin on September 21. The situation with the coronavirus in the country and its impact on schools will be re-evaluated in September.

It should be noted that the daily number of coronavirus infections in Turkey is about 1,200.
