The US is suspending arms sales to Turkey

Several members of the US Congress have blocked major agreements on arms sales to Turkey for two years.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the Defense News website. According to the report, the reason was the S-400 systems purchased by Ankara from Russia. The site has not yet announced how many potential contracts have been frozen.

However, the site said that so far two major agreements on the modernization of F-16s are among the frozen.
