Iraq has deployed troops on the border with Turkey

The Iraqi Border Guards have deployed a large number of troops on the border with Turkey.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Yeni Akit.

According to the report, Ehsan Chalabi, the mayor of Sidekan district of Erbil province, confirmed that Iraq has deployed troops on the border with Turkey in the last two days:

"Troops have been sent to establish six security points in the region. However, the PKK opposes the establishment of military bases. According to the report, 500 servicemen have been deployed on the border with Turkey.

It should be noted that two generals of the Iraqi army and PKK terrorists were reported to have been shot down by Turkish UAVs near the border.
