Unemployment rises in Russia - Putin

Unemployment in Russia has risen slightly.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the acting head of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Chibulsky.

According to the President, attention should be paid to people who are temporarily unemployed until new jobs are created.

"In general, there has been an increase in unemployment in the country. In the Arkhangelsk region, the figures are higher than the average. This direction must be controlled," the President said.
