Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev won the hearts of the Turkish people by making a visit to Ankara immediately after the despicable terrorist attack, said Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.

He made the remark at the joint press conference in Baku June 3.

“I’m proud of visiting Azerbaijan, a country with which we share common history and culture, as a prime minister,” the PM said.

Yildirim noted that he made his first visit to Northern Cyprus and then to Azerbaijan after assuming office.

According to him, Azerbaijan and Turkey relations rely on the principle of one nation and two states.
Turkey’s PM said that Baku is developing at a rapid pace. “It’s you – Mr. President who ensured this development in Azerbaijan,” he stressed.
