One Azerbaijani injured in Istanbul explosion

One Azerbaijani citizen was killed as a result of the explosion in Turkey's Istanbul city June 7, the Turkish NTV TV channel reported.

According to the information, he was taken to Haseki hospital.

The attack on the police bus took place near a police station as the vehicle was passing.

Eleven people were killed and 36 more were injured as a result of the explosion. Seven of the dead are police officers. The health condition of three of the injured is very serious.

Turkey's authorities haven't made official statements on the explosion.
